This month we are featuring the stunning Z26 owned by Shaun De Loche. Shaun has owned this car for awhile, and been a long time member of this site. Check out his car, and fall in love. Beautiful Z26 Shaun, keep up the excellent work.

I've had the car since 2001, I bought it with 28,000 miles and it now has a shade over 90,700. The first couple of mods that I did to my car were asthetic. I got the 17x7 KMC's originally in silver and the clear corners and fogs. I decided after that to try some performance mods. I put on a WAI intake with the K&N filter first. Decided to have the upper and lower plenums ported and polished, (did most of the polishing myself since RSM didn't do a great job) and went with a 62mm throttlebody. I felt the improved performance and spent the next few years adding the mandrel bent magnaflow exhaust, FFP udp and engine mount, along with the Eibachs and KYB shocks and struts. The last mod that I've done is to paint the rims to match the car. Sort of a tribute to the earlier muscle cars of the 60's and 70's.

I can definitely say that I will always have this car. My grandmother helped me purchase it my senior year of college. I had always wanted a Med. Adriatic Blue Z26 and without her help I would not have been able to purchase it. Since she passed away a few years ago I've been able to look at the car everyday and remember her. As long as I have this car I'll always have something to remember her. Article by Shaun De Loche
